Title: Defining Marriage as Being Between One Man and One Woman

Vote to pass a resolution that proposes an amendment to the Indiana constitution to prohibit marriages that are not between one man and one woman from being considered "valid or recognized" and to prohibit "a legal status identical or substantially similar to that of marriage" involving persons who are not married from being "valid or recognized."

NOTE: AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION REQUIRES MAJORITY APPROVAL IN EACH CHAMBER IN TWO SUCCESSIVE SESSIONS. IT MUST THEN BE APPROVED BY A MAJORITY OF CITIZENS VOTING IN THE NEXT ELECTION TO BECOME ENACTED.
