Vote to pass a bill that increases regulations on health insurance companies and managed care organization with respect to contracts with health care providers.

Highlights:

-Prohibits health insurance companies and managed care organizations from refusing to contract with a health care provider for the following reasons (Secs. 1-2):

-The provider is not a member of a group, network, or any other organization of providers contacting with the company or organization; or -The provider does not offer all of the services obtained through the group, network, or organization of providers contracting with the company or organization.
