Vote to pass a bill that makes any and all participation in a cockfight a crime.
Highlights:
-Prohibits anyone from attending, betting on, or paying admission to a cockfight at any location (Sec. 1). -Defines a "cockfight" as a contest where chickens are set against one another with the intention that they engage in combat (Sec. 1). -Establishes that anyone found in violation will face not more than a $500 fine and/or not more than six months imprisonment (Sec. 1).
