Title: Authorizing Concealed Weapons on Campus

Vote to pass a bill that grants employees the right to carry a concealed weapon at their workplace, or in state or municipality facilities or premises unless adequate security measures prohibit the presence of such weapons.

Highlights:

-Specifies that no state agency or municipality shall prohibit an employee who is licensed to carry a concealed weapon from carrying it at their workplace unless adequate security measures ensure such weapons are not permitted there (Sec. 1). -Defines "adequate security measures" as the use of electronic equipment and personnel to detect and restrict the carrying of any weapons into the facility or on such premises, including, but not limited to, the following (Sec. 1):
