Vote to pass a resolution that limits the disclosure of legislative information.

Highlights:

• Specifies that a legislator and a legislator’s aides have the privileges and immunities afforded to them by the New Mexico Constitution in regards to information, regardless of form or characteristics. 

• Requires the Legislative Council Service to receive and respond to requests pursuant to the Inspection of Public Records Act (IPRA).

• Establishes that the house and senate, and their respective committees, exercise authority collectively and not through the actions of individual members.
