Vote to concur with House amendments and pass a bill that increases driver's license fees, effective November 1, 2013.

Highlights:

• Increases the fees for the issuance or renewal of driver’s licenses as follows (Sec. 2):
• From $41.50 to $51.50 for a Class A or Class B commercial license; 
• From $31.50 to $41.50 for a Class C commercial license; and
• From $21.50 to $33.50 fee for a Class D license.

• Increases the prorated fees for the issuance of a Class D license or a motorcycle endorsement to an individual between the ages of 62 and 64 by $10 (Sec. 2).

• Increases the fee for the issuance, renewal, or replacement of an identification card from $10 to $20 (Sec. 3).

• Requires $10 to be deposited to the Department of Public Safety Revolving Fund for all issuances, renewals, or replacements of licenses or identification cards (Secs. 2, 3 & 6).
