Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the collection of rooftop precipitation.

Highlights:

• Authorizes an individual to collect precipitation from a rooftop under the following conditions (Sec. 1):
• The precipitation is collected in up to 2 rain barrels with a combined storage capacity of 110 gallons or less;
• The precipitation is from the rooftop of a building that is used primarily as a single-family residence or a multi-family residence with up to 4 units; and
• The precipitation is used for outdoors purposes on the property on which it was collected.

• Prohibits an individual from using collected precipitation for drinking water or indoor household use (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits an association from prohibiting the collection and use of rooftop precipitation authorized in the provisions of this bill (Sec. 3).
