Prohibits the governing board of an educational institution from adopting a policy that prohibits an individual from carrying a deadly weapon on a “public right-of-way” (Sec. 1).
Defines “public right-of-way” as a highway, street, road, thoroughfare, path, or alley that is publicly accessible and maintained by the state or a local government, excluding an educational institution (Sec. 1).
