Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that prohibits state-funded travel to states with laws which void or repeal existing state or local discrimination protections.

Highlights:

• Prohibits the University of California or California State University from mandating its employees travel to a state that has enacted a law that voids or repeals existing state or local protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression  after June 26, 2015 (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits the state from granting requests for state-funded or state-sponsored travel to states with laws voiding or repealing existing state or local protections for sexual orientation and gender identity after June 26, 2015 (Sec. 1).

• Requires the Attorney General to post a list of states that have enacted laws repealing or voiding existing state or local discrimination protections after June 26, 2015 on their website (Sec. 1).
