Vote to pass a bill that expands health care coverage for children in minority communities.

Highlights:

• Requires Oregon Health Authority to advise and assist in implementing the Health Care for All Oregon Children program (Sec. 1)

• Authorizes all children residing in Oregon and meeting financial eligibility requirements to enroll in the program (Sec. 2)

• Establishes grants to help encourage enrollment in the following communities (Sec. 1):

• Members of racial, ethnic and language minority groups;

• Children living in geographic isolation; and

• Children and family members with additional barriers to accessing health care, such as mental or physical disorders, chemical dependence, and homelessness.
