Vote to pass a bill that establishes various regulations for the fantasy sports industry.

Highlights:

• Requires fantasy contest operators to obtain a license from the Ohio Casino Control Commission in order to operate in the state (Sec. 1).

• Requires fantasy contest operators prohibit access to individuals under 18 and individuals who have requested that they be prohibited access to fantasy contests (Sec. 1).

• Requires fantasy contest operators to segregate player funds from operational funds (Sec. 1).

• Requires fantasy contest operators to keep records relating to business and accounting operations for at least fives years from the date of the record (Sec. 1).

• Requires fantasy contest operators to conduct a third party audit of their business at least every three years to ensure compliance with the provisions of this act (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits fantasy contest operators from offering contests based upon university, high school, or youth sports events (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits fantasy contest operators from allowing the use of automated scripts unless such scripts are made available to all users (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits fantasy contest operators from utilizing false or misleading advertising (Sec. 1).
