• Specifies that any employer who takes adverse action against an employee will be held liable to the aggrieved employee for recovery penalty payments, including, but not limited to (Sec. 2):

• Reinstatement;

• Reimbursement of lost wages plus interest; or

• Other compensation or equitable relief appropriate to the circumstances.

• Specifies that any contract or agreement, expressed or implied, made by an employee to waive the benefits of this act will be null and void (Sec. 2).
