Vote to pass a bill that establishes work requirements for recipients of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits.
Highlights:

Specifies that in order to remain eligible for SNAP benefits, an individual must comply with the program’s work requirements (Sec. A).

Specifies that a nonexempt individual who refuses or fails without good cause to comply with the work requirements will become disqualified for the program as follows (Sec. A):

For the 1st occurrence of noncompliance, they will be disqualified for 3 months;

For the 2nd occurrence, they will be disqualified for 6 months; and
-
For the 3rd or any subsequent occurrence, they will be disqualified for 2 years.
