Title: Amends Constitution to Include Right-to-Work Provision
Vote Smart's Synopsis:
Vote to pass a joint resolution which submits a constitutional amendment to the voters which authorizes right-to-work policies.
Highlights:

Prohibits requiring individuals, as a condition of employment, to do any of the following (Sec. A):
-
Become, remain, or refrain from becoming a member of a labor organization;
-
Pay any dues, fees, or similar payments of any amount to a labor organization; or
-
In lieu of payments to a labor organization, pay any dues or fees to a charity or similar organization.

Authorizes individuals injured as the result of a violation of the above provision to seek injunctive relief against those violating or threatening a violation and to seek damages (Sec. A).

Authorizes local prosecuting attorneys to investigate violations of these provisions (Sec. A).
