Highlights:

• Authorizes a stadium, athletic facility, or area on the campus or property of a public college or university, excluding community colleges, be issued permits for mixed beverage sales when the stadium, athletic facility, or arena is being used for a sports event, excepting sports events sponsored by the public college or university (Sec. 1).

• Requires the premises of a stadium, athletic facility, or arena to meet the following requirements (Sec. 1):

• Is within 500 feet of the furthest exterior building wall, perimeter fence, or permanent fence perimeter;

• Is designated in a map or written description that clearly defines the boundary of the arena, stadium, or athletic facility and put in the permit application; and

• Can be designated in a manner that enables the stadium, athletic facility, or arena to ensure compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
