Title: Appropriates Funds for Education Finance

    • $150,000 annually for each eligible school for up to 3 years of implementation of a full-service community school plan. Districts or charter schools receiving funding for 3 or more schools must provide or contract with a partner agency to provide a full-service community initiative director.

  • Definies “community-wide full-service community school leadership team” as a district-level team that is responsible for guiding the vision, policy, resource alignment, implementation, oversight, and goal setting for community school programs within the district (Article 2, Sec. 29).

  • Requires the percentage of teachers of color or American Indian teachers to increase at least 2 percentage points per year to have a teaching workforce that more closely reflects the student population and increases access to effective and diverse teachers by 2040 (Article 3, Sec. 2).

  • Requires the commissioner to distribute student and school safety air equal to a total of $57.08 times each district's adjusted average daily membership for fiscal year 2019 (Article 1, Sec. 41).
