Vote to concur with House amendments on a bill that prohibits government contractors from participating in the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.

Highlights:

• Defines “boycott” as performing activities that are intended to limit commercial relations with entities doing business in Israel or territories controlled by Israel (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits a public entity from entering into a contract with a value of $100,000 or more,  unless the contract includes a written certification that the company is not currently engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel (Sec. 2). 

• Specifies that any provision of this act that is found invalid does not affect any other provision that may go into effect without the invalid provision (Sec. 3).
