Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funds for a response to the COVID-19 coronavirus.

Highlights:

• Authorizes the Governor to, by executive order, issue any directive during a state disaster emergency declared in the following instances, including (Sec. 1):

• Fire, flood, earthquake, hurricane, tornado, or high water;

• Landslide, mudslide, wind, storm, wave action, volcanic activity;

• Epidemic, disease outbreak, air containment, terrorism, cyber event;

• Blight, drought, infestation, explosion, or radiological accident;

• Nuclear, chemical, biological, or bacteriological release; and

• Water contamination, bridge failure, or bridge collapse.

• Requires that any such directive taken by the Governor be necessary to cope with the disaster and may include procedures necessary to enforce such directive (Sec. 1).
