Title: Appropriates Funds for COVID-19 Coronavirus Response
Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funds for a response to the COVID-19 coronavirus.
Authorizes the Governor to, by executive order, issue any directive during a state disaster emergency declared in the following instances, including (Sec. 1):
Fire, flood, earthquake, hurricane, tornado, or high water;
Landslide, mudslide, wind, storm, wave action, volcanic activity;
Epidemic, disease outbreak, air containment, terrorism, cyber event;
Blight, drought, infestation, explosion, or radiological accident;
Nuclear, chemical, biological, or bacteriological release; and
Water contamination, bridge failure, or bridge collapse.
Requires that any such directive taken by the Governor be necessary to cope with the disaster and may include procedures necessary to enforce such directive (Sec. 1).
Defines “disaster” as an occurance, or imminent, impending or urgent threat of wide spread or severe damage, injury, or loss of life or property resulting from any natural or man-made causes (Sec. 1).
