Vote to pass a bill that amends criminal tresspassing laws relating to critical infrastructure sites.

Highlights:

• Expands the definition of key infrastructure assets to include above-ground natural gas pipelines, petroleum pipelines, and cable television headends (Sec 1).

• Expands the definition of criminal mischief to include tampering with the operations of a key infrastructure asset in a manner that is harmful or dangerous (Sec 2). 

• Authorizes civil action to be taken on any person that knowingly directs or causes a person to tamper with a key infrastructure asset (Sec 3). 

• Authorizes liability to include damages to personal or real property caused by the offense and potentially include punitive damages and court costs (Sec 3).
