Vote to amend and pass a bill that requires the observation of Mountain daylight time year-round.

Highlights:

• Requires the year-round observation of mountain daylight time for Wyoming and all of the state’s political subdivisions (Sec. 1).

• Defines “mountain daylight time” as the period during a year when mountain standard time is advanced one hour (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that this act becomes effective on the first Sunday of November following the day on which (Sec. 2):

• Legislation enacted by the United States Congress goes into effect to authorize states to observe daylight saving time year-round; and

• No less than 4 western states, including Wyoming, pass legislation to place all or a portion of those states on year-round daylight time, regardless of the time zone.
