Vote to concur with house amendments and pass a bill that establishes "Alyssa's Law," which requires each public school to implement a mobile panic alert system.

Highlights:

• Requires all public schools to implement a mobile panic alert system that ensures real-time coordination of first-responder agencies, beginning with the 2021-2022 school year (Sec. 2).

• Authorizes public school districts to implement additional strategies to ensure real-time coordination of first responder agencies in a school security emergency (Sec. 2).

• Requires the Department of Education to consult with the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission, the Department of Law Enforcement, and the Division of Emergency Management to issue a competitive solicitation to contract for the mobile panic alert system for the 2020-2021 fiscal year (Sec. 2).
