Title: Repeals Anti-Mask Law

  • Exempts any person wearing a mask for the purpose of ensuring the physical health or safety of the wearer or others, from state laws that prohibit wearing a mask or face covering (Sec. 3).

  • Specifies that this bill does not apply to any preliminary meetings held for the purpose of organizing, promoting, or forming a labor union or local organization (Sec. 3).

  • Authorizes a person to wear a mask for the purpose of protecting the person’s face or head while operating a motorcycle (Sec. 3).

  • Requires a person wearing a mask for the purpose of ensuring the physical health or safety of the wearer or others, to remove the mask upon request by a law enforcement officer in either of the following circumstances (Sec. 3):

    • During a traffic stop, including a checkpoint or roadblock; or

    • When a law enforcement officer has reasonable suspicion or probable cause during a criminal investigation.
