Vote to pass a bill that repeals the 2024 expiration date on the career-tech courses or art classes for foreign language credit exchange program.

Highlights:

• Repeals the 2024 expiration date and authorizes all pupils to partially or fully fulfill 1 of the 2 credits in a language other than English that are required to graduate by completing a department-approved formal career and technical education program or by completing visual or performing arts instruction (Sec. 1278a).

• Repeals the requirement that schools report the number of pupils that partially or fully fulfilled 1 credit in a language other than English by completing a formal career and technical education program or by completing visual or performing arts instruction (Sec. 1278a).
