Title: Increases the Punishment for Fraudulent Absentee Voting
Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that increases the punishment of filling out multiple absentee ballot requests, providing false information on a mail-in ballot, or forging a signature on a ballot to a felony and/or a fine of up to $1,000.
Specifies that any person is guilty of a felony if they knowingly do one of the following: (Sec 759);
Submits an absent voter ballot with false information or a forged signature;
Fills and submits an absent voter ballot with intent to obtain multiple voter ballots; or
Submits an absent voter ballot using another person’s name.
