Vote to pass a bill that requires certain provisions in state contracts for delivery for mental health, behavioral health, and addiction services.
Specifies that publicly financed mental health, behavioral health, and addiction services are critical to the health and safety and require the taxpayers to invest in them (Sec 1).
Authorizes any contract to be entered or renewed from families that have a private contractor who makes diagnoses for mental health, behavioral health, or addiction services (Sec 1).
Requires the services to contain the adoption to a policy sufficient to ensure services and the community are protected from spreading COVID 19 and requires a certification of a commitment that ensures uninterrupted delivery of services (Sec 1).
Requires the State to contain a COVID-19 containment and mitigation commitment (Sec 1).
Specifies that the bill will come into effect 91 days following enactment and the pandemic related portion will expire in one year (Sec 1).
