Highlights:

 

  • Specifies that of the $750 million from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the following amounts are to be appropriated for the 2021 fiscal year (Sec. 2):

    • $194 million to the workforce solutions department and allocates $150,000 to provide a one-time supplemental unemployment compensation benefit of $1,200 to each eligible claimant;

  • Requires any remaining balance from the listed appropriations on December 28, 2020, are to be reverted to the unemployment compensation fund (Sec. 2).

  • Appropriates $10 million from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in the 2021 fiscal year to provide and contract for services for contact tracing, testing, and vaccine implementation in relation to COVID-19 (Sec. 3).

  • Appropriates $200,000 from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in the fiscal year 2021 to cover expenses in relation to implementation and compliance with public health orders relating to COVID-19 (Sec. 3).

  • Authorizes $43,000 to be distributed through vouchers for the expense of the House of Representatives (Sec. 1).

  • Authorizes $23,000 to be distributed through vouchers for the expense of the Senate (Sec. 1).
