Vote to pass a bill that establishes automatic voter registration.

Highlights:

• Defines "Agency" as any state or local agency, department, division, office, institution, or other entity (Sec. 1-1).

• Requires for each application submitted to the agency, whether electronically or on paper, that the agency must transmit to the state board of elections a portion of the application that includes voter registration information (Sec. 1-2).

• Authorizes a voter to be able to decline to register to vote using an integrated application by selecting a single check box, or equivalent (Sec. 1-10).

• Requires the State Board of Elections to promulgate rules and regulations for the creation and administration of an integrated electronic voter registration process (Sec. 1-15).
