Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that reduces the Wyoming state park budget by $1.1 Million.

Highlights:

• Transfers the funds received by the department from the sale of the permits into an account within the special revenue fund called the state parks account, which may be expended by the department for capital construction projects, major maintenance, and site interpretation such as exhibits, signage, and displays as approved by the legislature (Sec. 1.h).

• Establishes interest on funds in the account accrues to the account (Sec. 1.h).

• Prohibits more than 60 percent of the funds in the account in any fiscal year from being expended without legislative approval (Sec. 1.h).
