• Prohibits qualified health plans that provide coverage for abortions from being offered in the state on the state’s health insurance exchange (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that the prohibitions do not apply if and when (Sec. 1):

• The abortion is to be performed to save the life of the mother as a result of physically threatening complications arising from the pregnancy; or 

• The abortion is to be performed to terminate a pregnancy that is the result of rape or incest
