Vote to pass a bill that rescinds federal unemployment compensation and increases state unemployment compensation by $28.

Highlights:

• Prohibits the weekly amount paid to be more than $312 (Sec. 1E).

• Authorizes a claimant to submit to withholding of state income taxes at a rate of 4% if they are eligible to receive any temporary federal emergency increase in unemployment compensation benefits in addition to the maximum weekly benefit amounts (Sec. 1J).
