Vote to pass a bill that prohibits Governor's school's from using race, sex, color, or ethnicity as a factor in the schools admissions process.

Highlights:

• Prohibits any Governor’s School or governing board member, director, administrator, or employee from (Sec. 1):

• Discriminating against, or grant preferential treatment to any individual or group on the basis of;

• Race;

• Sex;

• Color;

• Ethnicity; or 

• National origin;

• Engage in proxy discrimation; or 

• Seek information on students race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin during the application process for admission.
