  • Prohibits any K-12 public school or community/junior college from directing or otherwise compelling a student to personally afirm, adopt, or adhere to any of the following (Sec. 1):

    • That any sex, race, ethnicity, religion, or national origin is inaherently superior or inferior; or

    • That individuals should be adversely treated on the basis of their sex, race, ethnicity, religion, or national origin.

  • Prohibits any K-12 public school or community/junior college from making a distinction or classification of students based on account of race, but specifies that nothing in this act shall be construed to prohibit the required collection or reporting of demographic information (Sec. 1).

  • Prohibits any K-12 public school or community/junior college from teaching a course or unit of study that directs or otherwise compels a student to personally affirm, adopt, or adhere to any of the following (Sec. 1):
