• Defines “consumer dispute” as a dispute between one or more individuals in which one seeks to acquire real or personal property, services (including digital technology), securities, or other investments, money, or credit for personal, family, or household purposes (Ch. 5, Sec. 501).

• Defines “employment dispute” as a dispute between one or more individuals relating to a work relationship or prospective work relationship, including a dispute regarding the terms of, or payment for (Ch. 5, Sec. 501).

• Defines “predispute arbitration agreement” as an agreement to arbitrate a dispute that has not yet arisen at the time of the making of the agreement (Ch. 5, Sec. 501).
