Title: Prohibits Teaching of Certain Concepts Relating to Race, Sex, or Religion
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the teaching of certain topics related to race, sex, or religion.
Alleges that “divisive concepts…exacerbate and inflame divisions on the basis of sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, national origin, and other criteria” (Sec. 2).
Specifies sixteen examples of divisive concepts relating to race, sex, etc. (Sec. 3).
Limits proliferation of divisive concepts in public institutions of higher education (Sec. 4).
Prohibits imposition on students, employees of certain academic, professional requirements relating to such concepts (Sec. 4-5).
