Title: Limits College Sports Participation on Basis of Sex Assigned at Birth
Vote to pass a bill that limits college sports participation on the basis of one's sex assigned at birth
Authorizes students, student parents/guardians to bring action against public schools for deprivation of athletic opportunity (Page 1).
Prohibits persons assigned “male” at birth from participating in women’s college sports (Page 1).
Requires determination of sex by means of original birth certificate or “other evidence” (Page 2).
Prohibits acceptance of complaints regarding sex separation policies (Page 2).
Prohibits adverse action against students reporting violations of such policies (Page 2).
Establishes effective date of July 1, 2022 (Page 3).
