  • Prohibits a licensed medical professional from performing, inducing, or attempting to perform or induce an abortion after 15 weeks gestational age except in the case of a medical emergency or severe fetal abnormality (Article 2Q, Sec. 16).

  • Specifies that a licensed medical professional that intentionally or recklessly performs or induces an abortion after 15 weeks and without meeting the aforementioned requirements shall be subject to discipline by the applicable licensure board, including the loss of their professional license to practice (Article 2Q, Sec. 16).

  • Exempts any penalty from being assessed against any individual who had an abortion performed or induced  (Article 2Q, Sec. 16).
