Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funding for the conservation or restoration of wildlife and plant species of greatest conservation need, the wildlife conservation strategies of states, territories, or the District of Columbia, and wildlife conservation education and recreation projects.

Highlights:

• Appropriates the following amounts in funding for the conservation or restoration of wildlife and plant species of greatest conservation need, the wildlife conservation strategies of states, territories, or the District of Columbia, and wildlife conservation education and recreation projects, including (Title I, Sec. 101):

• $850 million for fiscal year 2023;

• $1.1 billion for fiscal year 2024;

• $1.2 billion for fiscal year 2025; and

• $1.3 billion for fiscal year 2026.

• Establishes the Tribal Wildlife Conservation and Restoration Account and appropriates $97.5 million from the general fund into the account for fiscal year 2023 (Title II, Sec. 201).

• Establishes the Endangered Species Recovery and Habitate Conservation Legacy Fund and appropriates $187.5 million from the general fund into the account for fiscal year 2023-2026 (Title III, Sec. 301).
