Title: Amends the Department of Health and Human Services Immunization Requirements
Vote to pass a bill that amends the Department of Health and Human Services immunization requirements.
Requires that all parents and legal guardians of the state have their children immunized against (Sec. 1):
Diphtheria;
Mumps;
Pertussis;
Poliomyelitis;
Rubella
Rubeola
Tetanus; and
Varicella.
Specifies that immunizations against hepatitis B and hemphilus influenzae shall be requires until June 30, 2026, unless otherwise authorized by statute (Sec. 1).
Authorizes the commissioner of public health to amend the immunization requirement for 20 months with three-fifths approval of the legislative oversight committee on health and human services (Sec. 1).
Establishes that this act shall take effect 60 days after its passage (Sec. 2).
