Highlights:

• Requires a council of governments or a delegate subregion consider the following factors in future appropriation funding and emergency evacuation measures, including (Sec. 2-3):

• Wilfire risk;

• Sea level rise; and

• Other impacts caused by climate change.

• Requires the state to reimburse local agencies and school districts for costs mandated under this bill for the state and establishes statutory procedures for making said reimbursements (Sec. 6).
