Vote to pass a bill that specifies the application of certain reapportioned districts for certain elections.

Highlights:

• Specifies that the Senate districts described herein shall become operative on the fifteenth day following the General Election in November 2022 (Sec. 1).

• Establishes that each county shall be divided by the board of county commissioners into three compact districts, as equal in population as practicable and numbered respectively one, two, and three (Sec. 2).

• Specifies that each county shall be reapportioned by the board of county commissioners on or before October 1 for the purposes of legislative redistricting (Sec. 2).

• Specifies that all boundaries of county commissioner districts shall follow clearly visible, definable and observable physical boundaries which are based upon criteria established and recognized by the Bureau of the Census of the United States Department of Commerce (Sec. 2).

• Establishes a depository for county commissioner district boundary maps and reapportionment resolutions within the Office of Geographic Information within the Oklahoma Conservation Commission (Sec. 2).

• Specifies that this act shall take effect immediately and be in full force from and after its passage and approval (Sec. 3).
