Vote to pass a bill that amends abortion laws to prohibit abortion after 6 weeks.

Highlights:

• Prohibits abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected, usually found at 6 weeks gestation, with exemptions for the following situations, including (Sec. 1):

• The pregnant individuals life or health is in danger;

• Fatal fetal abnormality; and

• Sexual assault victims if pregnancy is before 12 weeks.

• Authorizes a physician to perform an aboriton on a minor if they have successfully petitioned the court for an order granting such request (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that an individual found to have violated the provisions of this bill shall be guilty of a felony and upon conviction fined $10,000 and/or imprisoned for a term of 2 years (Sec. 1).
