Vote to pass a bill that prohibits adult cabaret (drag) performances in public locations.

Highlights:

• Prohibits a person from engaging in an adult cabaret performance at the following locations (Sec. 1): 

• On public property; and 

• Places where the performer knows or has reason to know that the performance would be viewed by a minor. 

• Specifies that this section does not prohibit counties from making and enforcing their own regulations around adult cabaret performances that are at least as restrictive as the above rule (Sec. 1).

• Classifies violation of this rule as a class 1 misdemeanor (Sec. 1). 

• Classifies the second or subsequent violation of this rule as a class 6 felony (Sec. 1).
