Vote to pass a bill that prohibits purchase of explosive devices without a firearm identification card,

Highlights:

• Prohibits individuals from acquiring prepackaged explosive devices if they have been disqualified under the Firearm Owners Identification Act (Pg. 1). 

• Exempts members of the Armed Services or Reserve Forces of the United State or Illinois National Guard from the aforementioned prohibitions (Pg. 9).  

• Establishes failure to maintain transfer records of prepackaged explosive devices as a federal offense (Pg. 14).
