Title: Unemployment Benefits for Military Spouses

Vote to pass a bill that provides full unemployment insurance benefits to individuals who are forced to quit a job and relocate as a result of their military spouse's transfer and provides annual reports of allocated benefits to legislative committees.
Highlights:
- Mandates that any benefit provided to a military spouse be taken out of the unemployment compensation fund and not affect their employers premium [sec. 1 (s) (II)]. - Mandates that annual reports be sent to the House Business Affairs and Labor Committee and the Senate Business, Labor, and Technology Committee detailing the number of individuals claiming and awarded benefits and the amount of the benefits beginning January 31, 2009 [sec. 1 (s) (III)].
