Vote to pass a bill that requires the Department of Natural Resources to identify and map wildland-urban interface parcels and make the resulting information available to the public, local governments, and governmental fire agencies.

Highlights:

-Requires consultation with county governing bodies and governmental fire agencies regarding which parcels to designate as wildland-urban interface parcels (Sec. 1). -Requires the reviewing and updating of wildland-urban interface parcel designation every five years (Sec. 1). -Prohibits additional fire protection fees on properties based solely on location of the property within the wildland-urban interface (Sec. 1). -Requires each county to have or develop a community wildfire protection plan (Sec. 1).
