Vote to concur with house amendments and pass a bill that allows an individual to carry a concealed handgun onto the premises of an establishment that serves alcohol provided that the individual does not consume an alcoholic beverage.
-Specifies that a person who carries a concealed handgun and consumes an alcoholic beverage in a public establishment that serves alcohol is guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor (Sec. J3). -Specifies that an individual who carries a concealed handgun in an establishment that serves alcohol and becomes intoxicated is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor (Sec. J3). -Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall not apply to a federal, state, or local law enforcement officer (Sec. J3).
