Get Connecticut back to work by providing loans and lines of credit for small businesses, provide financing and technical services to new start-up businesses, and tax credits for hiring. Reduce electric rates for families and businesses, and create and retain jobs in clean energy and energy efficiency programs with the creation of a consumer-driven Department of Energy. Get CT moving forward with a commitment to mass transit, while reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. We need to maintain/repair our current transportation infrastructure while developing alternative transportation choices : more frequent commuter trains; buses that run on clean diesel; van pools. |
