I am a strong proponent of business incubators and will work with both universities and local businesses to expand these programs throughout Florida. They are a great source for entrepreneurship and will help create more businesses, which will in turn lead to job creation. This method of creating businesses in our state rather than relying on transplanting businesses from other states will help take Florida to the next level economically.

Finding innovative solutions to improve the education of our citizens is my top priority. Early in my career on the commission, I worked hard to get school uniforms approved in Osceola County. I also worked to bring Maverick Charter School and two technical colleges to our area: MechTech College and Florida Technical College. I would like to work to give teachers the freedom of innovation in the classroom so they can adequately prepare our students for success at the next level. Finally, I would like to create partnerships with our public schools to provide more vocational programs for our students.
