My greatest priority is the fight against climate change. We will fund our work reducing Washington's emissions with the Climate Commitment Act, which I worked to pass in 2021. I am focused in the coming biennium on effectively implementing the CCA and in strategically allocating the revenues to the places where they will do the most good for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving air and water quality, and targeting difficult-to-decarbonize sectors in our economy like the industrial sector.
