  • "As our nominee, I will ban corporate contributions to our Convention and direct the Democratic National Committee to return to the Obama standard and reject lobbyist and PAC money." (www.cheadleforushouse.org)
  • "End the corrupt system of money for influence" (www.cheadleforushouse.org)
  • "End the practice of federal candidates taking corporate PAC money. Right now, candidates for federal office can accept contributions from political action committees that are set up by corporations, even though they can’t take contributions from corporations directly. My plan will make it illegal for corporate PACs to contribute to federal candidates." (www.cheadleforushouse.org)

  • "Since 2016, the number of homeless in San Francisco has increased from 12,249 to 19,086, which comes out to about $57,000 in spending per homeless person per year. With a total population of about 860,000, roughly 2.2 percent of San Francisco residents are homeless, which is over 12 times the national average. There is little doubt that as San Francisco spends more, homelessness and its impact on the city worsens." (www.cheadleforushouse.org)

  • "Loan forgiveness is a necessity. It is past time that we stopped catering to the rich of this country and start taking care of thepoor. We can forgive nations around the world for their debt and bailout industries, it is now time to benefit the poor and unprivileged." (www.cheadleforushouse.org)
  • "Though many may take issue with the concept of loan forgiveness, it must be remebered that the student loan program has been one of the most predatory programs administered by the government upon its own citizens. Many students, though college educated, have not been able to secure employment sufficient to pay off their loans because of the excessive interest that the loan has accrued. The forgiveness of student loans out to begin with the poor, those who have been chronically unemployed and underemployed. Forgiveness of student loans for those in this category can easily be verified by income tax records." (www.cheadleforushouse.org)

  • "If it is held that health Care is a Human Right leaves vacant the duty of the individual. The individual has a duty to be as healthy as possible. The diseases in the United States are diseases of luxury and corporate exploitation - high blood pressure, cerebrovascular disease, cardiovascular disease, obesity, and diabetes. America is a land teeming with gluttons, addicts, and people who lack self-discipline and eschew personal responsibility. As such, universal health care is unsustainable and would serve to benefit corporate coffers by maintaining the status quo as they are complicit in the demise and ill-health of millions of Americans. Health care costs can only be reigned in by prevention, not medication." (www.cheadleforushouse.org)

Pro-life Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
I believe that women have the right o abortion via a convoluted Supreme Court decision, but government should not be responsible for the funding of that right.
Yes In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
Defense spending is riddled with waste, fraud, and corporate welfare. Government must reduce spending rather than seek an increase in taxes. This can be done by decreasing the size of government.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Both entities, corporations and unions, wield a powerful influence in political campaigns thereby decreasing the power of WE THE PEOPLE. The government is of, by, and for the people, not corporations and unions.
Yes Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes Do you support alternatives to incarceration for certain non-violent offenders such as mandatory counseling or substance abuse treatment?
No Do you support mandatory minimum sentences for non-violent drug offenders?
We incarcerate over 2.3 million people in the US. Upwards of 60 million have a criminal record which denies them gainful employment, housing, and federal benefits. Their entire wages may be garnished to pay for their incarceration. Drug offenses should be treated as a health/medical problem like alcohol rather than a criminal problem. Moreover, a significant portion of those incarcerated have mental illnesses and would be better served with treatment than incarceration. Mandatory minimus take discretion away from the judge and gives the prosecution more power. The result is innocent people making plea bargains to crimes they did not commit.
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
No Do you support lowering taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
Federal spending to encourage economic growth usually ends up involving fraud or political favors being paid. Lowering taxes would increase the discretionary income and decrease the burden on citizens. I support tax incentives on small business for the purpose of job creation. large businesses abuse these incentives and seek only to enhance their bottom-line.
No Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
Education reforms for the purpose of receiving federal grants would lead to educators stressing testing rather than stressing learning.
Yes Do you support building the Keystone XL pipeline?
Yes Do you support funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?
No Do you support increased regulations on the hydraulic fracturing ("fracking") industry?
I support the Keystone pipeline as long as private property rights are respected. I support renewable energy solely by the private sector. The government has blown billions of dollars in failed solar companies. I am not in favor of fracking because we are exchanging water for oil.
Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
No Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
The climate has been changing for millennia. The guesstimates are based on computer models that are mired in scientific bias. The regulation of greenhouse gas emissions would lead to increased regulation and taxes, more power and control by the government, and no detectable difference in the environment.
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
The ACA tramples upon religious liberty, its individual mandate is unconstitutional, it does nothing to lower the costs of healthcare, and has lead to increases in copay, deductibles, and premiums.
No Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Given the high number of illegal aliens in this country, the best strategy would be to disallow any an d all federal aid to them, deport those who commit crime, and revisit the 14th amendment to disallow anchor babies to become citizens.
No Do you support same-sex marriage?
Marriage is a sacred institution, not a secular one. Hence, it is under the church and not the state.
Yes Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the United States from possessing a nuclear weapon?
Unknown Position Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
Targeting??? Suspected terrorists???
Yes Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
I support people having the right to make their own choices with respect to their retirement and not be forced to pay into social security.
